Mr. Hatfield enjoys a diverse litigation practice with an emphasis on the defense of health care providers. From the early stages of discovery through trial and appeal, Mr. Hatfield is actively involved and dedicated to his clients. Mr. Hatfield’s extensive litigation experience informs his ability to counsel clients on a wide range of issues, including risk management, contract, employment and general business matters.

Representative Experience

Obtained defense verdict in ‘bet the company’ nursing home negligence case in Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Obtained defense verdict nursing home negligence case in Garland County, Arkansas where Plaintiff sought multi-million dollar judgment.

Successful appeals to Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in Bedell v. Williams and Scott v. CANC, establishing limits on Plaintiff’s ability to seek damages against owners of long-term care facilities.

Obtained defense verdict in breach of contract action related to termination of banking employee.

Serves as statewide counsel for several long-term care providers.
